Founded in 2001, Ratel Investments ("Ratel") targets multi-family opportunities, located in the western United States. Ratel provides both General Partner and Limited Partner equity. We work with experienced partners and invest in both ground up develop and value add opportunities, in supply constrained markets. Ratel has invested in approximately 5,000 market rate apartments, and more than 2 million square feet of commercial real estate, with a combined market value in excess of approximately $2 billion. 

 

Since our establishment, Ratel has invested a couple hundred million of investor capital. Our investors are high net worth individuals and small family offices. We provide access to institutional quality partners and assets, while allowing investors to limit their liability and invest in smaller increments. Further, our investment structure is typically tax preferred, when compared to public equities or many private investment vehicles. We work for the long term invest of our investors.

 

Ratel has more than 20 years of professional experience in working with qualified partners to acquire, manage and dispose of commercial real estate, as well as organizing and managing investor capital. Ratel has been successful in both bull and bear markets. Ratel is a flexible partner who is focused on optimizing outcomes. Our investment structure aligns financial incentives, so that Ratel cannot prosper before our investors.
